CHERRY extends distribution deal with Conrad Electronic to include sensor products
Auerbach, Germany, 28th March 2013 – CHERRY Industrial Solutions has recently extended its distribution agreement with Conrad Electronic to now also include about 40 sensor products. Since the summer of 2011 Conrad has already been distributing about 250 of CHERRY’s preferred switch products.
“We have established a very good and successful working relationship with Conrad,“ comments Mark Mills, European Distribution Manager at CHERRY. “Sensors are a major part of our strategy as we look to expand and increase awareness of our industrial solutions product range in Europe, and with Conrad we have got an ideal partner to support this strategy,” he continues.
The range of sensors from CHERRY now being distributed by Conrad includes MP series reed and hall proximity sensors, AN series hall rotary position/angle sensors, as well as SD and GS series speed & speed & direction sensors. All sensors are highly reliable, very durable and ideally suited for harsh environments as they are immune to dust, oil and heat. The hall sensors offer the additional benefit of a virtually unlimited mechanical life. The key target markets and applications are appliances, off-road, construction and agricultural vehicles, vending machines, door position sensing, etc.
